Legendary rockers, JPT Scare Band, released some of the most collectible psychedelic/acid rock of all time, and now they're about to release their first ever music video. Banded together during the tumultuous years of the early 70’s, JPT Scare Band fused a sound equally heavy in hard rocking blues as it was tripped out in psychedelia, creating a sound so imposing that it perfectly reflected the emotions of the era. Hailed as one of the "lost pioneers of Heavy Metal” by Classic Rock Magazine, JPT Scare Band has seen a resurgence of interest by fans of 1970’s heavy fuzzed out rock.
Now, on the heels of the release of their new album, Acid Blues is the White Man's Burden on Ripple Music, JPT will unveil their first ever music video for the new JPT classic, 'Not My Fault', a song written by JPT in the '70's but not recorded until the early 2000's.
The video makes direct use of the song's title and biting sarcastic edge as it assails BP for their denial of any blame for the Gulf Oil Spill disaster. The video is thought provoking and inflammatory, in addition to being a good 'ol rock video, with tons of never before seen footage of JPT Scare Band doing what they do best.

> THE BODY'S RELEASE DETAILS CONFIRMED
As the official At A Loss Recordings release from Providence, Rhode Island's The Body draws near, details on the release and on the band's sinister plot slowly fall into place.
Already being dubbed as an incredibly original and ultimately creepy by those who have acquired an LP, the dense, diverse seven tracks on All The Waters Of The Earth Turn To Blood could ultimately be one of the most twisted releases in recent doom metal history. While the main destruction caused by The Body is born of its two main members, the unit frequently join forces with other rogue assassins and collectives of musical militia on stage to bring their hymns to life. On All The Waters Of The Earth Turn To Blood, the duo have teamed up with The Assembly Of Light Choir, adding a totally mind engulfing, spine-chilling and downright freaky twist to the band's devastating doom.
All The Waters Of The Earth Turn To Blood is set to see an official CD release via At A Loss on July 27th, 2010. The LP version is already available from the band directly and via At A Loss mail order, and a digital download version will also be available in the coming weeks. In support of the release the band will set out on a 2-3 month tour of The States beginning in late July. The full routing will be announced shortly.

> DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN FOR DAMNATION FESTIVAL
Mathcore pioneers The Dilliinger Escape Plan are the second band to be announced for this year's Damnation Festival. The frenetic five-piece will bring their devastating live performance to Leeds University Union, on Saturday, November 6, 2010.
The Dilliinger Escape Plan are the second name to be confirmed for the sixth installment of the UK's premier metal event with British metallers Earthtone9 announced last week.
Festival director Gavin McInally said: "With their blistering, uncompromising live performance it's hard to think of many bands more suited to take the stage at Damnation Festival than The Dilliinger Escape Plan. "It's often said that bands are going to tear apart a stage but with The Dilliinger Escape Plan it's rarely a figure of speech. Their set at Damnation is sure to be explosive."
