> BLACK CIRCLES SINGLE

Ask anyone and they’ll tell you the same - three is the magic number. London power-trio Black Circles release their gloriously melodic debut single 'Little Girl' on August 19th. The song combines the valve fuzz of QOTSA with the blistering pop melodies of early Biffy and Silversun.

Not afraid of damaging your ears or getting their songs stuck in what lies between them, the band are both ambitious and demanding of themselves as songwriters and musicians. Dan, Mayumi & Simon have all cut their teeth on the touring highway in previous bands (Mayumi most notably so, playing alongside Steve Helier and Richard Fearless from Death In Vegas) before fate brought them together, as the Black Circles we know now, in the heart of London.

The track is available now from iTunes but will also be available in physical CD format from the band from the 19th. You can hear the song in full on their official MySpace site.

> INTERMENT NEW SONG AND NEW ALBUM

Interment, the prime purveyors of putrid Swedish death metal featuring members of Demonical and the now-defunct Centinex, return with their much-anticipated and long-overdue debut full-length, "Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy". Check out new track 'Night Of The Undead' at the band's official MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/intermenthorde

Said the band of the song in a collective statement: "'Night Of The Undead' summarizes the album supremely and brings forth the dark and filthy Swedish old school death the band has been delivering for over 20 years!"

Featuring nine filth-ridden tracks over a span of 36-minutes, "Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy" offers some of the purest, sickest-sounding contemporary Stockholm death metal you've yet to hear. May you rest in festering slime! Recorded, mixed and mastered by Crypt Of Kerberos/Tyrant axeman Peter Bjärgö and showcasing the artistic talents of Polish extreme graphic artist Rafal Kruszyk (NunSlaughter, Machetazo, Hooded Menace etc.), "Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy" is not just a nostalgic retro death trip but also a lesson in Swedish violence!

"Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy" will be released via Pulverised Records later this year.

Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy Track Listing: 1) Eternal Darkness, 2) Torn From The Grave, 3) Dreaming In Dead, 4) Stench Of Flesh, 5) Where Death Will Increase, 6) Sacrificial Torment, 7) Night Of The Undead, 8) Morbid Death, 9) The Pestilence

> UNSUN SIGNS WITH MYSTIC PRODUCTION

Unsun, band led by ex-Vader guitar player, Mauser, has recently signed a worldwide deal with Mystic Production (home label of Behemoth and Riverside, among others). The band, who released their debut album, "The End Of Life" in September 2008 via Century Media Records, has entered the studio this spring to record sophomore album. Vocal tracks were recorded in Studio X in Olsztyn and soon after Unsun moved to Hertz Studio (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated) to record all instruments. After 5 weeks of hard work the album is currently being mixed and mastered.

The band has just uploaded first studio report which can be checked at Mystic Production YouTube channel or...right here:

Unsun’s new album was given “Clinic For Dolls” as a working title. This album will feature 10 new songs (and a bonus track for Japanese edition) and will be released on 20th September via Mystic Production in Europe. The American release date will be announced soon.

The band comments on the recordings and new label: “Work on our second album is almost finished. We recorded 10 fantastic songs. At the moment we are listening to the first mastered tracks. It’s metal, it’s powerful, heavy but at the same time melancholic and thrilling. You can expect also some softer tunes four one moving ballad. We are 100% satisfied with what we’ve done – so the plan was fulfilled. Now we are also focusing on photo session, video, etc. After fantastic reactions on our first album “The End Of Life” we signed a contract for the second album with Mystic Production, which is our exclusive European partner. Mystic Production is not only a successful music label, this is a bunch of fantastic people totally devoted to music and their artists. These are people with lots of experience who do their best to promote and support the bands. We are sure that this contract guarantees us the straight way to success. The faith in us and the support that Mystic Production gives us made Unsun even more motivated and determined. We will inform you about next steps soon – meanwhile please check the first part of our studio report”

> NEW PIN-UP WENT DOWN ALBUM

"342", the stunning second album from French avant-garde metal masters Pin-Up Went Down will be released through Ascendance Records on June 28th 2010.

In 2006 Alexis Damien, multi-instrumentalist and former drummer for avant-garde metal band, Carnival in Coal, launched his new project, Pin-Up Went Down. He brought in vocalist, Asphodel and although they had only met twice prior to recording, together they went on to create the critically acclaimed "2 Unlimited", an album that managed to combine gothic metal with funk, jazz, punk, and a whole host of other experimentations into the mix, melding together to create an utterly unique and bizarre blend of styles and moods.

If "2 Unlimited" surprised by its originality, "342’s" most significant feature might be its maturity. "342" is an un-inhibited display of eccentricity, pushing the genre to new and uncharted waters. Inventive musicianship coupled with Asphodel’s vocal gymnastics strike the balance between unrestrained sickness and emotional beauty. The track Vaginaal 'Nathrakh' features Andy Schmidt from German band Disillusion (courtesy of Metal Blade).

Quotes:

"...surprisingly cohesive, having been composed with real intelligence and insight, to remarkable and versatile effect." 8/10 Subba Cultcha

"Pin-Up Went Down is a band with no inhibitions and absolutely no limits." 93/100 Femme Metal
