> NEW EDEN'S CURSE ALBUM

AFM are pleased to announce that Eden’s Curse have re-signed with the label and are on course to deliver their new album Trinity this October.

Currently in the US where the band played the Melodic Rock Fest just three days ago in Illinois, and due to commence vocals on the new album this week in Chicago, the band has been boosted by the arrival (for live shows) of ex-Siam, Tigertailz and Paul Dianno's Killers guitarist Marcus Thurston.

Thurston, a former band mate of Eden's Curse drummer Pete Newdecks in Killers, replaces Jay Parmar who left the touring line up in December after the bands UK Tour with Alestorm.

Recordings for Trinity are progressing well. Drums and bass are done and guitar recordings will commence in Europe very soon, whilst Michael Eden will be recording vocals in the USA starting Wednesday May 5th with bassist/songwriter Paul Logue overseeing production.

> STARS OF THE SEARCH PARTY

Guilford’s Stars Of The Search Party have been playing almost constantly across the UK over the last eighteen months, and have built themselves an impressive UK fan base in the process. With such an infectious sound, it’s not really such a surprise; the band combine power metal guitars, electronic flourishes and an anthemic, but aggressive, punk-rock outlook that simultaneously brings to mind the likes of Underoath, Enter Shikari and Proceed.

The six-piece have just finished working on the re-release of their new EP, Lost In The Dust Pt II which is due for release June 10th 2010 through the band’s management label, Busker’s Hat. Alongside this, a limited edition run of the of the EP (printed in embossed gold) is out for fans, with additional tracks from the first EP remixed by DJ Verify. After tours with Hassle’s Fact and rising British stars Young Guns, the band have also shared stages with the likes of You Me At Six, Kids In Glass Houses, A, Attack! Attack!, We Are The Ocean, In Case Of Fire, The Outcry Collective, Failsafe and This City.

The band will headline the O2 Islington Academy II on 14th May and tickets are available at a small discount from the band themselves at http://www.myspace.com/starsofthesearchparty. The band have also been confirmed to play the Rock Sound Stage at Guilfest 2010 on 16th July and support Young Guns at The Hippodrome in Kingston on 18th July.
