Album Preview: Solid (2011)

David Reece (Accept, Bangalore Choir) and Martin Kronlund (Dogface, Gypsy Rose) have met the first time in 2007. David Reece was asked to join the Band 'Gypsy Rose' as the new front singer and in June 2008 the album 'Another World' was released. Their special friendship and musical chemistry continues till this day.
In November 2010 David Reece and Martin Kronlund decided to fulfil their dream about a project which was planed since. In December 2011, the album “Solid” by REECE-KRONLUND was born, professionally recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Martin Kronlund and David Reece at Kronlund's 'JM Studio' Sweden.
“Solid” promises to be, as the title already says, a clean, strong piece of very powerful and melodic 'Rock' and 'Metal'. Martin Kronlund played most of the guitars on '”Solid” which compliment David Reece's voice perfectly. The record includes a high toned companionship of musician guests playing musically and also co-writing songs on the album, i.e. on 'My Angel Wears White' (Tommy Denander), 'Edge of Heaven' (Andy Susemihl), 'Samurai' (Rikard Quist) 'Could This Be Madness' (Brynn Arens) and 'Animals and Cannibals' (Christian Tolle). The drums are played by Hans in't Zandt. David Reece also reached out to writer and lyricist Jon Wilde (also the owner and operator of the Rock Realms website) to share ideas and the end result is deep meaningful story lines that mesh perfect with Martin’s musical ideas and arrangements.
