Teddy Clemente – an Industrial Process & Automation Control Engineer for 30 plus years, emigrated from the Philippines to the United States of America back in 1981. He was introduced to Rock Music way back in his grade school days when he heard the song 'Highway Star' by Deep Purple.
The album Illusions is all about life, our children, our environment and our world spiced up with rock music influenced by great rock artists. We also encourage people to speak their minds and to not hold back. If you don't like what you hear or see with what's going on in this world, you need to express yourself............we do!
The band who helped create this project include Teddy Clemente on lead & rhythm guitars, acoustic guitar and back-up vocals, Thom Duell on lead vocals, rhythm guitars and mandolin, Robert Berry on rhythm & bass guitars, keys and back-up vocals, and David Lauser on drums Robert Berry took care of the recording and sound/mixing/engineering of the record. Teddy Clemente wrote all ten songs.

Here we have a really high quality independent recording from a band out of San Francisco, USA. They are called the T. Clemente Band, formed around excellent guitarist Teddy Clemente (a la Ritchie Blackmore), who is also the songwriter of all 10 songs on this album. Thom Duell (a la Ian Parry and Jeff Fenholt) takes care of the vocals and he happens to be blessed with a superb voice, so we are talking about something really interesting here.
Musically taking a bit of Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Zeno, Q5 and especially Queensryche meets Joshua meets Triumph with some metal riffs added, mixing this all together with awesome vocal- and guitar work, you basically end up with this awesome CD titled Illusions. Especially the songs 'Life', 'Come Fly Away' and 'Prisoner Of War' are very impressive tunes to check out asap if your heart belongs to quality progressive rock/metal with a classic hard rock vibe like a mix of mentioned acts and you want to hear beautiful melodies in all arrangements as well.
The CD has a huge sound, partly thanks to the legendary George Horn (a soul/funk/jazz legend!), who mastered the CD and also a special mention also needs to made for Robert Berry (3, Hush) who played guitars, keys, did back-up vocals and took care of the recording and sound/mixing/engineering of the record. Thumbs up to both for doing a great job here!
